No verdict after fourth day of deliberations

Jurors went home at 4:30 p.m. after a fourth day of deliberations in the Kwame Kilpatrick corruption trial.

The jury did not ask any questions or make any requests that would have prompted lawyers on both sides to appear in U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds’s courtroom in downtown Detroit.

The jury will return at 9 a.m. Monday in federal court.
