Super Bowl XLVI: Brady picked off, Giants driving

Tom Brady was almost stripped of the ball and sacked, rolled out of the pocket and launched a ball deep down the field to star tight end Rob Gronkowski, but the ball didn’t have enough steam behind it and it was picked off by linebacker Chase Blackburn, who stayed with Gronkowski all the way down the field.

Two plays later, Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw fumbled, but the ball was recovered by New York. New England held the Giants on 3rd-and-7, but were offside on the play, leading to 3rd-and-2. On that play, Eli Manning connected with Hakeem Nicks for 12 yards to extend the drive.

New England leads Super Bowl XLVI 17-15 early in the fourth quarter.
