Super Bowl XLVI: New England opens half with touchdown drive

Madonna and Clint Eastwood are in the books and it’s time to get back to some serious business: Football.

After scoring to end the first half, the Patriots decision to defer looked even better as they opened the second half by doing something truly special as Tom Brady actually got Chad Ochocinco involved, as he caught a 21-yard pass. Brady continued to look amazing, as, later in the drive, he connected with Aaron Hernandez for a 12-yard touchdown with 11:25 to play in the third quarter to take a 17-9 lead.

Brady is now 20-of-23 for 201 yards and a touchdown.
