Super Bowl XLVI: Patriots punt to Giants with less than four minutes left

New England and Tom Brady worked nearly six minutes off the clock, but were forced to punt.

Taking over at their own 8-yard line, the Patriots have, at the very least, reversed the field position battle by moving the ball into Giants territory, but Brady’s pass on 3rd-and-11 was broken up, allowing the Giants to take over at their own 12-yard line with 3:46 remaining and New England up 17-15  in Super Bowl XLVI.

On the first play of the drive, Eli Manning completed a pass for 38 yards to Mario Manningham (Michigan) to midfield.  New England challenged the play but the ruling on the field stood.
