Halftime: Lions lead, 14-3

Although the first-team offense didn’t find the end zone, the second group accounted for two touchdowns — a 5-yard run by Keiland Williams and a 3-yard catch by Stefan Logan — to take a 14-3 lead at halftime of the preseason opener at Ford Field. The Lions defense, though, has been a big highlight, with an interception by rookie Bill Bentley, and the line putting constant pressure on Browns quarterbacks Branden Weeden and Colt McCoy. The line notched three sacks in the first half, including one by Everette Brown on the final play of the second quarter.
