CB Bill Bentley hurt; walks off on own power

Lions rookie cornerback Bill Bentley was shaken up on a play early in the game.

It appears Bentley collided with safety John Wendling after Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer completed a pass to wide receiver Rod Streater. Although trainers tended to Bentley, he managed to walk off on his own power.

Bentley is locked in a battle for the second cornerback spot to begin the season. He earned the start tonight, his second consecutive this preseason.

The Lions started the game strong with a sack by Ndamukong Suh, but the Raiders have since found holes on the ground and through the air as they march down near the red zone early in the first quarter.
