Lions can't convert after interception

That’s the second drive the Lions have failed to score a touchdown after starting in Raiders territory.

Defensive end Willie Young made a one-handed interception on a third-down pass by Carson Palmer that gave the Lions the ball at the Oakland 7.

Then Kevin Smith lost a yard on the ground. Quarterback Shaun Hill followed with an incomplete pass and a seven-pass to Calvin Johnson, his first reception of the game.

The Lions then went for it on fourth and goal from the 1, but Hill threw it behind Johnson on a pass in traffic.

The Lions still trail 7-6 with the second quarter winding down.
