Lions' Stafford spreading the ball around, but...

In three drives, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has connected with seven different Lions receivers — and two Rams defenders. Stafford threw another pick — his second of the first half — and short-circuited another possession. Lo-Lonn Dunbar stepped in front of Stafford’s intended pass and returned it 42 yards to put St. Louis in good field position.
Stafford has been throwing a little late and a little late and too far too the inside, enabling defenders to step in and get the interceptions. He is 14-of-18 for 111 yards, with half of those incompletions going to Rams.
