Rams answer Lions' drive, take early lead

After getting the interception on the opening drive, the Rams marched down the field and got to the Lions’ 30 before settling for a 48-yard field goal by Greg Zuerline. The 10-play, 36-yard possession included nice passes by QB Sam Bradford, including a 12-yard screen to Steven Jackson and 15- and 16-yard catches by Danny Amendola — the latter setting up the field-goal attempt after a 3rd-and-24 play.
The Lions offense was crisp on the first drive and did everything right except cash in for points at the end.
