Jason Hanson hit the uprights on his second field goal attempt of the game, but got the bounce.
The same wasn’t true on his third attempt. From 40 yards out, Hanson again hit the right upright, but the ball bounced backwards.
The Lions have kept this game close, but have settled for field goals instead of touchdowns. If they can’t convert the field goals, this could turn ugly.
One bright spot: Calvin Johnson had a 24-yard reception on the drive. He has three catches for 36 yards and has been targeted seven times, but has yet to break free for a deep play.
