Chris Johnson helps Titans cut Lions lead

Titans running back Chris Johnson has nearly matched his season total of rushing yards in the first quarter.

Luckily for the Lions, he only had 21 yards combined in the first two weeks.

Johnson broke an 11-yard run on the Titans last drive that helped them move into field-goal range. He has 19 yards on three carries so far.

On a third-down play, Lions cornerback Chris Houston broke up a pass to the end zone from Jake Locker to Kenny Britt. The Titans had to settle for a 31-yard field goal and cut the Lions lead to 6-3 with 2:02 left in the first quarter.
