Lions convert Hail Mary; send game to overtime

It’s not over until it’s over.

The Lions trailed 41-27 with just 1:32 left in the game, but somehow scored two touchdowns to tie it.

After a quick drive ended with a three-yard touchdown pass to Clavin Johnson with 20 seconds left, Amari Spievey recovered an onside kick for the Lions.

With just six seconds left, Shaun Hill hurled it to the end zone, and wide receiver Titus Young was in the right place for the bounce. Young scored a 46-yard touchdown as the clock struck all zeros.

Jason Hanson’s extra point tied it, and we’re heading to overtime.
