Lions grateful for Rob Bironas

If the Lions win this game, they’ll surely owe Rob Bironas a few presents come December.

Bironas missed a 48-yard field goal with 2:18 left in the third quarter, his second consecutive miss.

The Lions defense gets some credit for holding the Titans to another field goal attempt, but Bironas’ two misses have kept this a one possession game.

The Lions will now drive for the lead, down 20-16, with the third quarter winding down.
