Lions stall again inside red zone

The Lions haven’t shown any signs of being a clutch offensive team this week.

They just settled for their fourth field goal of the game after a promising drive ended with 26-yarder by Jason Hanson.

The Lions now trail the Titans, 20-19, with 12:39 remaining, but they haven’t solved their inability to score touchdowns. They are one for three in the red zone today.

This time the culprit was right tackle Gosder Cherilus, who had a holding penalty on first and goal from the 8. The Lions couldn’t recover on their next three plays and had to settle for 3.

The Lions have plenty of time to win this game, but the offensive struggles keep mounting.
