Mikel Leshoure featured early

The starting nod wasn’t just a mirage.

Running back Mikel Leshoure had three carries for 13 yards on the Lions’ first drive of the game, including a seven-yard run that went for a first down.

Thanks to Leshoure, a 15-yard pass to Nate Burleson and a poor kickoff by the Titans, the Lions quickly moved into Tennessee territory on their first drive.

But the drive stalled and the Lions settled for a 47-yard field goal by Jason Hanson. They’re up 3-0 early.
