Cliff Avril injured in fourth quarter

Lions defensive end Cliff Avril is down after appearing to twist his knee while pursuing Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and trying to change direction. He was on his back on the field for a couple of minutes before getting up and walking off the field without any assistance.
The injury looked serious at first, but Avril was examined by team doctors on the sidelines and was stretching and flexing his left leg.
