This time, the Lions’ undoing wasn’t miscommunication — it was missed assignments.
After giving up two special-teams touchdowns in last week’s loss to the Titans, the Lions gave up two more to the Vikings on Sunday, leading to a 20-13 loss in front of a sellout crowd of 63,616 at Ford Field.
The Lions (1-3) are in a three-game skid, leaving plenty to work on as they head to the bye week before road games at Philadelphia and at Chicago.
