Vikings dig out of a hole

After a Lions punt pinned Minnesota at its own 9-yard line, the Vikings jumped early for a false-start penalty, pushing them back to their 5. But Adrian Peterson busted a run for 18 yards to get the Vikings out of trouble and they’ve continued on the drive into Lions territory.
After getting to 3rd-and-7, the Lions’ Bill Bentley got his second pass-interference call of the game, which gave the Vikings the ball on the Lions’ 23 — and again threatening to score.
