Another penalty forces Lions to punt

The Lions finally converted a third down on a pass to Nate Burleson, their first conversion against the Eagles after starting 0-for-8.

However, their next third drive wasn’t quite as easy.

On third and 10 near midfield, left guard Rob Sims was called for a false start, the Lions 14th penalty of the game. The Lions then failed to convert on third and 15.

The Eagles can now drive to add to their 16-13 lead.
