Detroit Lions force overtime on Jason Hanson field goal

The Lions had a chance to put the game away.

Needing a field goal to tie, the Lions drove as the fourth quarter drew near an end and had goal-to-go inside 30 seconds.

Wide receiver Titus Young drew a pass interference penalty in the end zone to give the Lions the ball at the 1, but their next two plays were incomplete passes.

So they settled for a 19-yard field goal to tie the game.

We’re headed to overtime.
