Louis Delmas making presence felt

Louis Delmas is without a doubt the vocal leader of the Lions defense.

He plays safety pretty well, too.

After missing the first four games while recovering from knee surgery, Delmas clearly came out hungry against the Eagles.

He just intercepted a Michael Vick pass attempt to Jason Avant to give the Lions the ball at their own 14.

On the previous drive, Delmas sniffed out a shovel pass to LeSean McCoy on third and one that forced a punt. It’s halfway through the second quarter and Delmas already has three tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass defended and an interception.
