Matthew Stafford quickly turns it back over

Well, that didn’t last long.

After the Lions recovered a fumble near midfield, they decided to quickly take a shot at the end zone.

Hindsight, my friends. On the second play of the drive, from the Philadelphia 38, Matthew Stafford threw a deep ball into double coverage for Calvin Johnson, and Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha intercepted it.

However, the Lions defense held the Eagles to a third three-and-out, and now they will start another drive. Consider the damage limited.
