What used to be the Lions best weapon — the deep pass — hasn’t helped them yet against the Eagles.
On their last drive, quarterback Matthew Stafford aired it out to wide receiver Titus Young, who was behind three defenders. But Young couldn’t make the catch.
After the first-down play, the Lions only picked up seven yards on the next two plays and had to punt.
They’re still up 6-0, but the missed opportunities are piling up in the first half.
