You need to send the Trick-or-Treaters away early tonight, plop yourself in front of the flat screen and watch the NFL Network’s profile of former Lion Chris Spielman. It starts at 8 p.m.
I don’t know if you’ve seen any of the previous features in this “A football life,” series, but they are remarkably well-reported, well-written and well-produced.
Spielman’s years with the Lions are a small part of this hour-long show, with good reason. His devotion to his wife and family, particularly during Stefanie’s fight against cancer, will restore your faith in the power of love.
