Atlanta Falcons steal back momentum

This is starting to look familiar.

The Lions cut Atlanta’s’ lead to just 5 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Falcons weren’t ready to give up their lead.

After the Lions’ field goal, the Falcons drove 78 yards for a touchdown to take a 28-16 lead with 7:12 left in the fourth quarter.

Atlanta scored on a 1-yard pass from Matt Ryan to tight end Michael Palmer. Ryan threw four passes of at least 12 yards on the drive, two to Julio Jones and two to Roddy White.
