Drayton Florence interception helps Detroit Lions add to lead

Cornerback Drayton Florence just caught his first interception as a member of the Lions to help set up a field-goal drive.

Florence caught an Andrew Luck pass intended for Donnie Avery and returned it to the end zone, but a block in the back on fellow cornerback Jacob Lacey nullified the score.

Instead, the Lions started at the Indianapolis 20 and settled for a 33-yard Jason Hanson field goal after gaining only five yards on three plays.

With 7:17 left in the second quarter, the Lions lead 20-14.
