Woodward Dream Cruise

Nice temps greet Woodward Dream Cruisers

Three words about the weather: Perfect. For. Cruising.

The skies are partly sunny with just enough cloud cover so anyone in a convertible doesn’t have to worry about heat stroke. Just warm enough that you’re comfortable but not so hot that you’re panting like a cocker spaniel.

But most delightful of all, very low humidity.

At 4:40 p.m., Woodward is already beginning to fill with classic cars, trucks and rods. There are still more than a few prime viewing spots on M-1 to park a lawn chair and watch automotive history roll by. As usual, the most crowded areas are around 13 1/2 Mile at Duggan’s on the west side and the Shell station on the east.

See you there.
