Let's guess what it is along Woodward

I saw this mystery machine while northbound near 13 1/2 Mile and just had to pull over and find out just what it was. Any guesses?
According to owner/creator Tony Inzano, it’s a 1959 VW “rat rod.”
“It sits 2 1/2 inches off the ground and is street legal,” said Inzano, 59. ”It isn’t difficult to get into, but I have to put my knee on the ground when I get out.”
Inzano bought the Bug last year and customized it in a few months.
“I bought it for $200 and was going to restore it as a regular Beetle, but then I thought ‘rat rod and started to lower it and move things around.”
According to Inzano, a police officer once gave the rod the once over and asked “where are the window wipers?”
“I told him I didn’t need any because it didn’t have any windows,” Inzano said with a laugh.
