Woodward Dream Cruise

Pontiac house party

Andrew Winston doesn’t have to waste time or money for parking at the Dream Cruise –  the already lives in a prime viewing spot.

And the 51-year-old takes advantage of his front porch view, too.

Winston’s lived at 46264 Woodward for 15 years and invited about 50 family members, friends and co-workers to watch the cruise from his house. He even rented a golf cart to get around Pontiac.

“We’re here so we embrace it,” he said.

Even a 7 a.m. wake-up call from screeching tires and horns didn’t bother him.

“It’s kind of hard to get home the entire week,” he said. “But if I wasn’t here I’d kind of miss it.”
