As if the greatest show on earth wasn’t enough, there’s a free motorcycle show at the Chrysler display at 13 1/2 Mile and Woodward. The young men (with huge insurance premiums, no doubt) are jumping, flipping, tipping and doing wheelies (front tire and back) on some snarling motocross motorcycles.
The three jump single, as pairs and then finally all three roar up a ramp like gas-powered circus acrobats. The effect is stunning (especially to little boys in the crowd) and the crowd was overwhelmed by these daring young men in their “flying machines.”
Look for the Monster III truck near the back of the display. BTW, the jumpers (who are on the Freestyle MX world tour) are autograph friendly.
