I pulled out my cellphone while stopped at Nine Mile and Woodward Avenue on Friday in Ferndale. I loaded up an app that reports decibels. Northbound came in at a whopping 115 dB. Southbound was a mere 110 dB. Well, that’s sandblasting or a loud rock concert territory, folks.
Friday night in Ferndale is proving to be THE place to be for cruisers and spectators who have jammed Nine Mile on both sides of Woodward Avenue.
