The Village of Rochester Hills will be hosting a 2012 Spring Fashion Show, this Sunday March 18th, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at The Royal Park Hotel. Being a part of the Rochester community as much as I am and loving fashion as much as I do, I’m excited to attend the show!
The show will include over 90 outfit changes focusing on Spring trends from the stores at The Village of Rochester Hills including; Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, The Buckle, White House Black Market, Gap, Moosejaw, Talbots and Parisian. Proceeds from the show will benefit The Women’s Fund of Rochester and the runway looks will feature trends for men, women and children. The show will even include local celebrities and young local dancers. The Village of Rochester always has fun family events and this Sunday is one I most certainly don’t want to miss.
The show and the generous assistance to the The Women’s Fund aren’t the only two reasons to go. World renowned stylist, fashion designer, and my friend, Cynthia LaMaide, will be styling the show and making a guest appearance. Cynthia is well-known for her signature collection and for dressing celebrities including Lenny Kravitz and Jennifer Aniston. She also has been featured in Women’s Wear Daily and several Metro Detroit media outlets, not to mention my blogs; Detroit Fashion News and Glamorous Moms. Cynthia is such a presence. I’ve only known her a little less than three years and have to say I feel like I have known her my entire life. When we are together, our friendship is true and enjoyable. Cynthia has traveled the world with so many famous designers, models and musicians, I melt when she shares her career stories with me. This Sunday is going to be such a treat for all of us in the Rochester area. Not only are the Spring trends so much fun and colorful this year, but The Village and Cynthia will have a lot to offer the attendees. I intend to enjoy myself to the fullest with a community I have grown to love and adore as I watch my friend Cynthia do what she does best….style! Girls day anyone? If you’re interested in watching the show with me, tickets are still available. I look forward to seeing you all there!
