Although Emily now calls Michigan home, she spent most of her life growing up in Texas, graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in English. She lives with her husband, two daughters and spoiled Maltzu puppy. She is a freelance writer, blogger, book reviewer, public speaker, novice runner and semi-professional oboist.
