A paczek pro!

Near a tall tower of flour bags, baker and owner Petar Petrovic mixes paczek dough, a secret recipe, late Sunday night and early Monday morning at the New Martha Washington Bakery in Hamtramck. Petrovic has been making paczki like this since he came to the U.S. 38 years ago, and learned it before then in Yugoslavia. Hundreds and hundreds of paczkis of various flavors will be made from scratch at the New Martha Washington Bakery.
