Beneath a painting of Dodge Motor Car Company heiress Matilda Dodge Wilson, Mary Maas admires the opulent Christopher Wren dining room at Meadow Brook Hall, an 88,000 sq. foot, 110 room mansion in Rochester, Michigan that Tuesday was named a National Historic Landmark. Inspired by English manor homes, the Tudor Revival, built in 1926-29, is packed with original art and furnishings and allows time-travelers a peek into the lives of wealthy 20th century American industrialists.
