Spring is in the air...and stuck on a tree.

When I first moved to Detroit I was a bit overwhelmed by how many plastic bags there were floating around. So many that if we saw them going by, we’d refer to them as “Detroit tumbleweed” or if in the air: “Detroit balloon”. It still makes me sad that even on a beautiful day, when it’s time for this tree to shine it can’t shake some person’s inability to pick up after oneself.
