In Clawson, Michigan, a 1950 Plymouth, sans tires, sits in the parking lot of the Stirnemann machine shop where its owner had been putting in new brakes. At this time of year, around seemingly every corner, beautiful vintage rides like this one are getting prepped to roll down the avenue in one of the world’s largest classic car events–the Woodward Dream Cruise, which this year takes place on August 18th.
