Solid Gold in Detroit - USA 2, China 0

The U.S. Women’s National Team displayed some of the mad skills that won them a Gold Medal in the 2012 Olympics when they defeated China 2-0 in a friendly at Ford Field on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Here, USA’s  Carli Lloyd shoots past China’s Wang Lingling (center) and Pu Wei (11).  Lloyd missed this shot, but she scored the first goal of the game early in the second half.
