Hey there. I'm David Guralnick, staff photographer for the Detroit News. I shoot a lot of Red Wings hockey, Michigan football, and, well, just about everything else you can imagine. On any given day I never know where I will be, or who I will meet. This is usually a good thing.

The Westland John Glenn high school girls basketball team is joined by their mascot “Rocky” during the National Anthem before the start of a game against Martin Luther King Jr. high school on Tuesday, March 12.  John Glenn went on to defeat MLK 55-50 to earn a trip to East Lansing this weekend.
