Maybe it’s good that tax cuts won’t pass.
After all, most people will end up paying taxes, or simply accepting a lower refund (for many payroll employees). The middle class, of course, will be without all sorts of perks and doo-dads of tax code, because even they won’t realize the effect of this failure until April.
While even pragmatics on the board seem to want to blame Dems for this, I have to say, this is a truly bi-partisan failure. Or maybe it’s a cunning plan to stimulate the economy…
Let the taxes come back. Yeah, I said it.
Why not, just let us all pay an extra 3%, and see how much off the debt this gets us. It will spur job growth (both rich and poor have to make 3% extra just to cover the Man), and force businesses, (especially the milk barons) to hire, produce, and procure as much as they can. We can hate on everyone later.
Banks will lend, because they will lose their extra Benz Bling, so our GDP will probably have no choice but go up, or America will die.
…Well, not so dramatic, but to make it simple, we’ll be forced to grow in order to pay taxes.
I’m thinking this idea might just work. Congratulations, GOP, you somehow managed to whizz of the entire nation, and accidentally…save it. Mako out.
