If the super-rich were forced to kick in a few thousand more in tax revenue, how on earth would they be able to keep up with the Joneses and upgrade their yachts? The latest models are just so sleek, don’t you know?
And besides, they need that extra money to sink into Citizen United style SuperPACs to swing the election.
Seriously. For the super-rich the recession is long over. They’re in the money again. For the rest of us working class types, not so much.
