Is South Carolina all that?

The build-up to South Carolina as the picker of presidents is overblown. If true, shouldn’t we all be ready to close the process and just move the winner into the White House?

The polls showing Mitt Romney or Ron Paul beating President Barack Obama must take into account the race is not over once a Republican nominee is chosen. Just as it was with John McCain and Sarah Palin, so it will be with the next GOP nominees.

Nothing ends in South Carolina.
