When people get up in arms and drive all night to go to a place and join thousands like them, they feel the power of unity. The large crowd even makes them feel they are doing something right. But it should also cause them to think about the things they overlook daily and make no protest about in their own backyard.
Thank God for all the people that went to Sanford, Fla., to protest the mishandling of the murder of a young black boy. Now, do the same for the young black boys killed in Detroit with no arrest every day.
