Election 2012 is heating up and President Obama and Mitt Romney are dueling over their records on economic policy. Apparently hoping to fool enough of the people, all of the time, Mr. Romney is basing his attacks on bizarre metrics, calculating his record versus President Obama’s using exactly opposite criteria.
Romney contends he took office while Massachussetts was bleeding jobs so his economic record should only be counted from when the state started to turn around, while President Obama should be held responsible from the minute he was sworn in, even though Obama inherited an economy that was losing jobs at an even larger rate.
I guess this is how Romney justifies lying when he claims there was a net job loss under President Obama. In fact, if we used the same criteria Romney wants to use for his own record, for both men, the truth is President Obama’s policies created millions of jobs since he took office. Meanwhile, former Massachussetts Governor Romney’s tenure can be summed up in this graphic:

So much for Romney translating his business experience into governing for the best interest of all the people. Ruthless Big Business Mogul and President of the United States require two uniquely different skill sets. There’s nothing in Mitt Romney’s record as former Governor of Massachussetts that suggests he possesses both.
