Oh what a night! God and Jerusalem get booed, and the far left get their stage time

Call me The Amazing Kreskin!

As I predicted earlier in the year, Sandra Fluke is now the official face of the supposed ‘war on women’.  And she owes Rush Limbaugh a big thank you for it.

Rush has now made her a poster girl person for the far left. She will enjoy much celebrity in the coming weeks. She will have a ton of job offers to sift through, many of which will allow her to pay for her own birth control. Her calendar will be full of guest spots on the many non-biased programs of MSNBC, CNN, and other fine networks that enjoy a good stab at all things politically on the right. I’m thinking book deal and HBO movie. She’ll probably even end up as a guest speaker at the Democratic convention. The sky is the limit for this activist!ME! on March 6, 2012

As a featured speaker at the Democrat convention last night, Ms. Fluke and her oppressed Democrat feminist friends have now become the foot soldiers for the Obama camp, leading the charge for free birth control for all 30-year-old students who are spending $120,000 for tuition to elite schools (much of it on government student loans) and majoring in gender studies.  Their self-righteous cries will demand that anyone with a male appendage should stay completely out of any decisions regarding female genitalia, yet they will be perfectly fine in forcing that same group of XY chromosome holders to pay for extracurricular activities that are, well, outside of academics.

Last night, Ms. Fluke spoke passionately about reproductive personal freedom, yet she did not speak about who pays for that freedom.  She did not mention the issues of religious freedom and the choice to not support government initiatives that run counter to the beliefs of many.

But like many of the speakers over the last two days at the Democrat convention, these issues are meaningless, and we were reminded that we should all show our thanks for being allowed to be a small part of a big government that knows what is best for all of us.

The follow-up act to Ms. Fluke was Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, whose Indian name is “Spreading Bull”, or so I’m told, who talked about her modest upbringing and family background, including her three brothers, one of whom she claims is a small business owner.  I would love to have been at the family picnic when she told him that he didn’t build it.  But apparently, according to her, she has also spoken to many small business owners throughout her state, and none of them have apparently disagreed with her philosophy of paying homage to the state for creating their business.  To her credit, Ms. Warren gave a rousing speech for those who are motivated by envy, class warfare and can’t stand the rich.

And finally, the master himself spoke, the “Big Dog” as Dems like to call him, walking out on the stage like a retired champion wrestler coming back into the ring to reclaim the belt.  Bill Clinton took Obama to school and taught the amateur how the game is won.  I must admit, I was in awe as he played the crowd to the hilt, and had them salivating for more like a pack of pooches at the feet of Pavlov himself.

I watched Bill Clinton like a clinical psychiatrist would observe a pathological liar as a case study.   He was extremely convincing and charismatic.  He spoke with all the charm and confidence that got him eight years in the White House, and countless phone numbers on the campaign trail.  He could sell ice cubes to eskimos – but of course they would melt on payment and delivery.  If there is such a thing as objective fact-checkers, they will have a field day with his speech and spin.

But the big story of the night was about the Democrat platform – specifically the exclusion of God, the lack of the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and the staged and scripted “vote” to put this ugly blunder of exclusion back into the platform.  There is more developing, and by later today, we are going to see a lot of back-peddling spin on this fiasco.  Stay tuned …
