Four more years, huh?
Remember the “Arab Spring” and the freedom and democracy it was going to bring?
Remember the President Obama apology tour, where the strategy was to make America a more kinder, gentler and neutered place by telling other countries how wrong we’ve been?
To recap the events of yesterday, the embassy in Egypt and a consulate in Libya were attacked by Muslim extremists on the anniversary of 9/11. Four Americans including US Ambassador to Libya, a Foreign Service officer and 2 US Marines were murdered. Meanwhile, someone in the administration in Egypt apologizes through Twitter and via an official apology announcement from the State Department. Think about that for a while. The Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn, but to sympathize with the attackers. Apologies we can believe in!
Of course, the mainstream media will not allow their Dear Leader to look less competent than his rival. After all, this is a major incident, and we can’t have approval ratings trending in the wrong direction, can we? No sir – that Romney press conference had better be loaded with Obama friendlies.
Regardless of liberal spin, these attacks were not caused by a silly, obscure film. This was a Muslim Brotherhood-instigated attack on America designed to coincide with the remembrance of 9/11. A giant middle digit aimed right at the figurative heart of America on a day that is still painful from a fresh wound that has not fully healed.
To compound matters, the President brushes off a meeting with Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and we found out earlier in the week that the President attends less than 50% of his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) security meetings.
But hey, it’s probably our fault, isn’t it? All of that free-speech talk can lead to bad things, can’t it? And just where do we get the gall to believe in all of that silly American exceptionalism stuff, anyway?
American foreign policy under President Obama? Weak. Pathetic. Incompetent. I have some other descriptive words, but decorum prevents me from posting.
Four more years?
FORWARD!
