Bravo, Mitt! Bravo!

So the left is shocked and outraged over Mitt’s comments on the 47%’ers, eh?

As the liberal/progressive element clings to their guns loaded with class warfare along with their religion of victimization, the statist blogosphere is all abuzz over some of Romney’s recent comments.  What is particularly comical is that I have heard nothing from the left to prove him wrong.  Nothing.  As for what Romney said:

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what … There are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.  Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax.  My job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

Of course a vast majority of these folks are not going to vote for Mitt.  When you don’t cater to those that think money is just colorful paper that the government can always print more of, you will be attacked and vilified.  Why would anyone caught in that groupthink actually vote against a President who has done everything imaginable to make you believe there is more where that came from – and that we don’t need to worry about it Was this really a startling epiphany for some?  Is this the first time some have actually thought about a government-dependent electorate?  Duh.

As for Romney and his message -  preach it, Mitt!  Say it loud, proud and often.  Stand strong and defiant.  Drive the message home all the way up to election day.  Don’t worry about those who boldly ask what the country can do for them.  The self-determined, industrious and productive in all socioeconomic categories (including those caught among the 47%) will listen and understand the message.  And they will vote.
