Flagging faux Obama outrages

I’ve been off the grid for a couple of days dealing with real life, but I saw the latest conservative faux outrage over a poster the Obama campaign was offering that featured a stylized flag logo. The cacophony of wailing over this “horrifying” affront to our country’s flag was nearly deafening.

Of course, a look at history tells us this is hardly a new thing.

If it was okay for Reagan and Lincoln, it should have been no big deal for Obama. So let’s think. What’s the difference between them? I’m sure I don’t need to spell it out.
