How could Mitt Romney lose and lose so badly? He lost all of his home states and being the rich guy he is, he had three. The talking heads gave many reasons, from conservative talk show host to the choice of a V.P. that couldn’t win his hometown, nor his home state. Romney is a big, bad loser in every way and somebody must shoulder the blame. So Romney told us in his own words recently.
The Barack Obama administration gave “gifts” to key voter groups. The “gifts” included forgiving college loan interest, free contraceptive coverage and people under age 26 health care coverage under their parents’ plan. The Hispanic voters got the Dream Act.
So, Romney may have outspent Obama and raised more money, but Obama out gave him. There is one more thing Obama gave, and that was a lesson on how to win with everything against you, including a bad economy.
