Why states don't want to implement the Obamacare mess

What part of “nationalized health care” doesn’t Michigan’s Left understand?

Democrats and their media brethren were outraged last week when Michigan House Republicans declined to dance with the Obama Administration and create a state health exchange for Obamacare. Forget that this is what happens when an arrogant president rams through legislation without ANY input from the opposing party. Forget that the Obama Administration STILL hasn’t finished writing its rules for the state health exchanges.

The bottom line is that Obamacare is a mess run by one of Washington’s most incompetent agencies – the Dept. of Health and Human Services.

Now the Obamabots want states to implement their mess as independent contractors without any idea of its costs or future obligations. That’s because it’s NATIONALIZED HEALTH CARE. Ultimately the states have no control over health care systems they have run for decades – but are now expected to tear up and turn over to the feds.

The MSM might have learned this if it spoke with Republicans like Speaker Jase Bolger, who told the Frank Beckmann Show on Friday: “There are so many questions from the federal government we just don’t know. We don’t have answers. Who will need to go through the exchange? What will the exchange look like? That caused the Health Policy Committee the greatest angst.”

Instead the Freep talked to ”disappointed” hospital special interests. The Freep forgot to mention, however, that Big Hospital wrote Obamacare. These mega-corps stand to make billions from the law and they want to ride herd on local legislatures on how to rig the system for themselves.

Applause to House Republicans for not entering their constituents into contracts they do not understand. Washington Democrats broke the health care system. They own it.
